Kate's 2nd Birthday

Kate loves Minnie Mouse and riding the pit bikes with her Daddy, so what better way to celebrate her 2nd birthday than a "Minnie Bike" party. It was so much fun, even though we had to delay it a day because she got the flu.
She was spoiled by everyone (thanks everyone for the fun toys!) and loved her tricycle. She loved blowing bubbles with Grandpa and playing on the slide with all her cousins and friends. Thanks everyone for such a fun evening!

Slide

Kate got a slide for her birthday (she loves slides). Her birthday isn't until Thursday, but we wanted to get the slide set up earlier. She was so excited and started going down it before we even had the frame built. Just wait until we get the hose out and a pool at the bottom :)

Chalk

One of Kate's favorite things to do is color with chalk. It was nice and cool this morning, so we decorated the back porch. Kate kept asking me to draw Mickey, of course her favorite.

The Dress

24th of July

We had a fun 24th of July with a bar-b-que and pit bike party. As usual, Kate didn't want to stop riding and even got Marshall to take her for a ride. This was also her first time with sparklers. She didn't quite know what to do with them at first, but after watching the older kids got the hang of it pretty quickly.

get to be such a little girl? I'm testing out locations for Kate's 2 year pictures and trying to decide if I should take them myself, or have a professional (I'm leaning towards a professional :). The darling outfit was made by her Aunt Catherine, I just love the bloomers! Thanks Catherine!
