Jed gave me my Christmas present early, a new digital camera! I never knew how difficult it was to take pictures of babies. They won't stay still.

Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. Kate slept through the whole thing. Since I haven't posted in a while, here's the rundown of what Kate does now. She laughed for the first time a week and a half ago. It's an elusive laugh, we've only heard it a few times so far. She figured out what toys are and is really getting into them (thank you Holly for the carrier toy, it is a lifesaver). And she is very talkative now!

Kate's Blessing

Kate was blessed a few weeks ago, and I thought I'd post a few pictures of her in her blessing gown. The last photo is one of my very favorites. Jed gave a beautiful blessing, and we want to thank all of our family and friends for their support!

The Dunes

We thought we'd squeeze in one more trip to the dunes this year (although we're thinking of hitting the St. George dunes sometime in December if anyone's interested). It was a beautiful day, just perfect for riding, and we had a great time camping out. We did have one accident, and Marshall ended up with a broken collar bone, so he's out for a few weeks.

Joy Luck Thursday

Kate and I love Joy Luck Thursday where we get to eat lunch with my mom and dad and my parents friends Keith and Zelda. It gives me a great excuse to dress Kate up for the day (or at least until she spits up).

Fall

This is a view of our ravine. The sunset lit up the trees so beautiful tonight, I had to take a picture. It is FALL!

2 Months Old

Kate turned 2 months old on Sunday. Here are some pictures taken over the last week. She sure has changed a lot! She now smiles at us every morning when she wakes up, and loves to watch her mobile in her crib.

My mom crochet this hat for Kate. Isn't it just sooooo cute!

Just Jeepin' It

I played my first soccer game since last year on Saturday. To be more accurate, I attempted to play. I lasted about ten minutes, I am out of shape! That got me thinking...maybe I should start jogging again. So, Monday morning I loaded Kate up in her new Jeep stroller (thank you Aunt Sara!), and attempted to jog. How did that go? Well, lets just say I'll be power walking for a while, but I'm determined to go every day it's good weather. Kate loves the stroller!

Bath Time

Kate loves bath time, and is always so calm during her bath and after. (Maybe I should give her a bath all day long? :) Everytime I lotion her face, she tries to eat my fingers.

6 Weeks

We had a great time at the dunes last weekend, although it was really hot. Much to hot for the end of September. I forgot to take any pictures of Kate's first trip to the dunes. Oh well!

Kate had her first smile this week, but I haven't been able to get a pic of that either! She also had a major growth spurt!

This is one of my favorite outfits, and I was afraid that Kate was outgrowing it, so I had to take a bunch of pictures of her in it yesterday.

One Month Old

Kate turned one month old last Friday. I took these pictures just before her bath. Most of my pictures of her are when she's asleep, but when she actually is awake, she pulls some great faces!
My mom, sister and I have been doing peaches all last week, and pears this week. Now, if Kate would cooperate and sleep like this while we're working...

This was also one of the outfits she had her 1 month pictures taken in. All of her pictures turned out so cute, I had a hard time choosing. Thanks mom for helping out!

4 Weeks
