Such A Big Girl

Kate is getting to be such a big girl, sitting all by herself and looking so grown up. Has it been 7 months already?

Tepanyaki

Tepanyaki is one of our favorite places to eat and we went there for my dad's birthday. Kate thought she was such a big girl sitting all by herself in the high chair. She enjoyed the show too!

A Day At The Park

It was such a beautiful day that we went to the park with the neighborhood friends. It was Kate's first trip. She liked the swing and kept her hat on most of the time, but mostly she liked watching all the kids play.

Kate's First Swim

Ok, maybe 'swim' isn't the right word. More like 'sit in the water'. She wasn't too excited at first, but soon liked it. I think that had to do with watching her friend Zoie crawling around. Kate was very entertained.

The Great 28

I had a great birthday this year. We headed to the dunes with Marshall & Rondi, Dave & Bonnie, and Matt, Marci & Maddi. On Saturday we went for a 'girls' ride, and when we came back, I found my trailer had been decorated! We also had an ice cream cake! It was a great first dunes trip of the season. When we got back, Jed's family cooked us an amazing dinner of Salmon, my favorite!

Such a Big Girl!

I can't believe how fast 6 months as gone by. Why didn't it go by this fast when I was pregnant? Kate can now sit up on her own (although she topples over once in a while)and thinks she's pretty hot stuff. She eats her toes and anything else she can fit in her mouth (the remote, my phone) and blows spit bubbles. She found out she can scream, and does so whenever she feels we aren't paying enough attention to her. Kate's 2 bottom teeth came in over the last couple of weeks.
