Kate's Nursery

The nursery is almost complete, it just needs a few finishing touches, and a baby! I'm so happy with how the room came together. The nightstand, shelf and armoire were mine growing up. My mom and I had stained them blue years ago. The crib I found on ksl.com (it's a great place to find deals). The rocker was my mom's that used with my sister and I. And the chaninging table (not shown yet) is actually an old desk that my mom is stripping down and restaining a natural honey color to match the crib and rocker.

Our 2nd Home!!!!

Jed spent Thursday afternoon installing the 5th wheel hitch himself (what a man). We made our way to the dealership on Friday to finally pick up our new toyhauler! Jed was a little nervous that the hitch would stay attached to the truck since he did it himself, but it proved successful. We had a lot of fun "yard camping" all weekend long, unloading everything from the motorhome and loading up the toyhauler. We're excited to test it out, but probably won't get to actually take it out until October (you know, with a baby on the way and all :). Anyway, take a look at the pics of our 2nd home.

Our New Toy

Many people have asked us "What do you keep in your toy barn?" Well... Toys of course! This past weekend, Jed and I added to our Toys. For about a year, we've been debating about buying a toy hauler. Well, on Saturday, we finally took the plunge. Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of ours (we pick it up next week) but I promise to post them as soon as we pull it into the driveway. We're very excited to take it out camping and hopefully can squeeze a trip in before the baby arrives.

In other news...only 6 weeks left of our pregnancy. It's getting harder and harder for me to get around, so I'm glad there's only a short time left. And the nursery is almost complete, so check back soon for pictures!

Pineview

It's been so hot lately that we decided to go up to the lake on Saturday. We planned on leaving around 2, but as usual, didn't actually get on the water until much later (after 6!). It started when the boat needed to be dewinterized (I know, I can't believe we haven't had it out yet), then a few stops for food, gas, and more food. Then as we got up to the lake, we found a huge line waiting to get in. Why you ask? Someone drove thier car into the lake and we had to wait for it to be towed out.

It was wonderful (for me) to just float in the water and cool off. This is Jed on the wakeboard, first time out this year, and he can still jump!

6 months (and huge already)!

As much as I love having my picture taken (really, who does?) especially when I look like this, I thought I should track how big I get from now until the end. I'm not sure how much more my belly can stretch, but I'm guessing it will just have to stretch a lot.

Toy Barn Complete

Ok, so the Toy Barn was actually built about 2 weeks after it started, but again, I'm slow at taking and posting pictures. So take a look! It still needs a lot of work on the inside (power, water, cement) but we love it for storage!

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent our Memorial Day Weekend in St. Anthony at the sand dunes. It's one of our favorite places to visit. My parents bought a new Kawasaki Teryx (a side-by-side) and that quickly became my ride for the weekend. At 6 months pregnant, I needed a smoother ride than the 4-wheeler. And don't worry, that's not me jumping (it's my CRAZY parents enjoying their new toy). The sand smoothed out on Monday morning, so I got to ride my 4-wheeler and turned my new toy back over to my parents to enjoy.

Our dune pictures just look so much better when we wear our helmets (it hides the bad hair). One of Jed's favorite things to do at the St. Anthony dunes is to pop a wheelie through the lake there.
